Description
Elderday Center offers a monthly caregiver support group, facilitated by Mollie Blum, MSW, Director of Programs for Elderday Center. The group provides direct support services for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, stroke, head injury, Parkinson's and other debilitating disorders. There is no charge for participation, and it is open to caregivers caring for people 55 years and over living in Kane County. The support group meets the third Thursday of each month at Elderday Center, 328 W. Wilson Street, Batavia, IL 60510 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. May's presenter is Carol Murin from Solutions for Long Term Care. She has 19 years of long term care insurance and industry expertise. Carol will speak on planning for the future.
