Volunteer Opportunities
Lazarus House's mission is to offer guests connected to our communities who are unhoused or at-risk hope for the future by providing hospitality, food, safe shelter and education - tools for life. We serve those with a connection to the Tri-Cities and western rural Kane County. We have many different volunteering opportunities from serving meals, event support and more-there is something for everyone! Please contact Megan, our Volunteer Coordinator at Volunteer@lazarushouse.net
Want to contribute more in the year ahead? Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly is looking for volunteers to bring connection and kindness to older adults in DuPage & Kane Counties—through friendly visits or helping with transportation and companionship at monthly events. Your presence matters more than you know. Call 630-300-6263 for more information.
Help seniors in our community! Batavia RSVP needs volunteers with their own vehicles to drive seniors to medical appointments. We also need volunteers to staff the office, primarily to coordinate requests for rides with our pool of volunteer drivers.
If you are a licensed massage therapist, we are currently seeking professionals to support Touch Therapy appointments at our Geneva and Warrenville locations. These are 45-minute sessions focused on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic touch. If you are passionate about making a difference through art or therapeutic touch, we would love to hear from you. We do offer a small stipend per appointment to help with contining education and license.
