Batavia, IL., August 29, 2025. Get your lederhosen or dirndl ready, friends! Sturdy Shelter Brewing’s Third Annual Oktoberfest Celebration is September 12-14, 2025 at 10 S. Shumway Ave., Batavia. Join the festivities with live music featuring traditional Bavarian tunes, a fun brewery sing-along, authentic German favorites from our food partners, and pretzels made from our spent grain! Donate Your Peppers for the Batavia Community Hot Sauce
Batavia, IL -- The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Gindo’s Spice of Life are teaming up for a third time on a Batavia community hot sauce, and we need your peppers! Gindo’s will be collecting peppers September 9 through October 1 (10am-2pm, Tuesday through Saturday), and will use these peppers to create Fire on the Fox: Three-Peat Heat .
