BatFest Returns to Downtown Batavia

Batavia MainStreet is thrilled to bring back the community’s favorite Halloween celebration — BatFest! Join us in downtown Batavia on Saturday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a day packed with family fun, festive activities, and plenty of seasonal spirit.

This annual Halloween-themed event offers something for everyone — from costumes and crafts to music, games, and treats. Here’s what to look forward to throughout the day:

BatFest Highlights:

  • BatFest Community Parade – Line up at 9:30 a.m.; Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. with games and music by Funway Entertainment Center 
  • Downtown Trick-or-Treating – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 
  • Super Mario World & Face Painting at New Moon Vegan – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 
  • Witches Brew Mocktails at The Tea Tree – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 
  • Pottery Wheel Throwing Demos at Thrown Threads – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 
  • Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party at Zen Loft Collective – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 
  • Reptile Show at Congregational Church of Batavia – 10:00–11:15 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m. 
  • BatFest Stories at Batavia Public Library Reading Garden – 10:45 a.m. 
  • Final Batavia Farmers’ Market of the Season – 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 
  • Incredible Bats at Sturdy Shelter Brewing – 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 
  • Pumpkin Roll hosted by Boy Scout Troop 6 – 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 
  • BatFest Booths & Performances at Peg Bond Center – 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. 
  • Costume Contest sponsored by Arlo.Hendrix – 12:15 p.m. at Peg Bond Center
