Batavia United Way 2025 Bat Race 5K/10K Race Registration Open

Get Ready to Run (or Stroll) in Your Spookiest Style — Bat Race 2025!

The Batavia United Way is thrilled to present the 11th Annual Halloween-themed Bat Race 5K/10K on Saturday, October 25, 2025 along the scenic Fox River Trail. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just here for the costumes, this chip-timed race is for all ages and abilities.

• 10K Start: 8:15 a.m.
   
• 5K Start: 8:30 a.m.
   
• Kids’ Fun Run: 9:30 a.m.

The morning will be buzzing with Halloween spirit — join the costume contest (prizes for the best get-ups!), enjoy treats like apple cider donuts, or sip something spooky from Pal Joey’s Bloody Mary bar on N. River Street.

Shirts for the first 600 registered runners — and every participant gets a medal! Register before the end of August to save $5 on adult registrations.
